How do I make money from my websites?

In every article you read on “How to make money online”, you will find a section called “Start your own blog”. I agree 100% that having your own blog or other kind of web resource is one of the top ways to make money online. In this article I will tell you how many different ways I make money from my websites.

Let’s look at four websites – epelna.com, OnlineMoneySpy.com, DiscoverLatvia.eu and SmaidaFabrika.lv and the different ways each of them has brought me money.

How have I made money with epelna.com?

Epelna.com is definitely my most successful internet business project to date. I have earned tens of thousands of euros from this website and it brings me good money every month. So, how have I made money online with this website?

1. Partner marketing. Affiliate marketing is my TOP1 favourite way to make money. To make money with affiliate marketing, you need to get your own unique link from the affiliate, which will then track all visitor activity on the affiliate’s website. If the person you refer makes a purchase on the partner’s website, you will be paid a commission. Epelna.com hosts many links to partner websites in different sectors – web development software, casinos/totalizers, peer-to-peer platforms, investment platforms, various profit systems, etc. Whenever a visitor to epelna.com makes a purchase on one of these websites, I am paid a commission by the respective affiliate.
2. Google AdSense. Google AdSense is Google’s advertising network that allows any website owner to place ads on their website. Previously, I wrote “Challenge – 1000€/month from Google AdSense“, where you can see how much I have earned from this platform over the last four years. This is a great way to generate passive income from your website, as all you have to do is enter the AdSense code line. You will also receive money for each click made on the Google ads that appear on your website.
3. Selling adverts. One of the top sources of revenue for epelna.com in the last year has been ad sales. Did you know that other websites are willing to pay a lot of money for you to post an article on their blog that will backlink to their website? I get between €150-300 for each article, depending on the subject. The best thing is that I don’t advertise this opportunity in any way, but the advertisers find me on their own. They send me a finished article, which I just have to publish on epelna.com – it takes about 10 minutes. And then, I invoice them for 150-300 euros. Not a bad return for a 10-minute job, right?

How have I earned money with OnlineMoneySpy.com?

OnlineMoneySpy.com is my English-language “How to make money online” project. The content in this project is, of course, slightly different – mostly about dropshipping, sports trading and product reviews. How have I earned money from this website?

1. Partner marketing. Like epelna.com, one of OnlineMoneySpy.com’s main sources of income is affiliate marketing commissions. Most of the commissions on this website come from the ClickBank network, which is the largest platform for selling digital products. The income from this website is much lower for the time being, but we are working hard to increase the number of visitors, which will result in more income.
2. Google AdSense. I have also put an AdSense code on this website, which means that I get money every time someone clicks on the ad. In the image below you can see how the revenue compares on the two pages where I have placed the AdSense code. Income depends mainly on the number of visitors to the website, which, at epelna.com, is almost double.
3. Selling adverts. I have also sold advertorials on this website. Not as much as epelna.com and for less money. I get around €50 per advert on this website. There are many more of this type of website in English, so my site is less unique and advertisers are not willing to pay more.
4. Banner advertising. I placed paid banner ads on OnlineMoneySpy.com for two months, for which I received €50 per month. It’s a small profit, but it took me five minutes to put these banners up.

How have I made money with DiscoverLatvia.eu?

1. Dropshipping commissions from partners. DiscoverLatvia.eu is an online business based on the dropshipping or direct delivery model. In this business model, I don’t need my own warehouse and I don’t need to buy products. Only when a customer buys products from the online shop do I forward the order to the product manufacturer, who delivers the product to the end customer. Every order is charged a brokerage fee or commission, which is how I made my income from this online shop.

How have I earned money with the SmaidaFabrika.lv website?

1. Sale of physical products. On this website, I am running a normal buy-sell business. I buy products in bulk, at wholesale prices, from manufacturers and sell them at a mark-up on the online shop. Unlike dropshipping, all the products I buy in this shop are stored in my warehouse and I pack and ship them to my customers myself. This business model can earn you more money, but there are also greater risks, for example, will the products you buy from a partner be sold?
2. Selling adverts. I have also sold several advertorials on SmaidaFabrika.lv. Dental clinics interested in improving their position on Google are interested in placing their articles on this website.
